Named after a quote by Madonna, the poster exhibition includes 25 typographic posters with various lyrics from the 20th & 21st centuries. The posters present themes such as gender injustice, sexism, and women’s specific fears told from the point of view of those concerned. With the help of experimental design, the works attract attention and direct it towards women as artists. The posters make existing problems visible, give women a stage and offer the viewers the chance to question their own behavior. At best, the posters create an impulse to give women more of a voice in the long term – and not just on a musical level. The works on display were created with the help of analog and digital design techniques and the use of various printing processes. They are the result of an experimental exploration of music, typography and poster design.
