In this seminar, we explored the visual potential of PROTEST! in the digital age. Posters have always been an important medium of political and social resistance. In the 21st century, the digital canvas expands this tradition: Digital, animated posters generate attention, amplify messages, and go viral.
We designed powerful typographic statements, developed visual languages and movement(s) that merged into potent manifestos. Beyond the design practice, we reflected on the role of designers in social movements and asked: How can design make protest visible, tangible, and impactful?
