Valerie Arif is an Egyptian independent graphic designer and creative director. She specializes in branding, event work, and editorial work. She recently launched her brand Baby which sells design products that are often the result of collaborations with other designers she knows and loves. Arif’s best-known projects include the logo for Zawya, as well as Eish + Malh and Kafein in downtown Cairo. She is proud to count Mada Masr, Gypsum Gallery, Cairobserver, and Nawa Recordings among her previous clients. Her work has been exhibited as part of exhibitions at Dubai Design Week (2016, 2017), Beirut Design Week (2017), Townhouse Gallery (2017) as well as Weltformat Graphic Design Festival in Switzerland (2018). She is one of 2018’s 100 Best Arabic Posters winners.
